In a nutshell: If anyone knows the code for T-Mobile Hungary, please write it here or mail me at ”litemininyuszika@gmail.com”!

I live in Hungary, and my provider is T-Mobile Hungary. Numbers are in the following format: country code, provider code, 7-digit number. Example: “+36301234567” (without quotes). Or, I can type 00 instead of the plus sign. It's the same. I tried these formats:

Number formats:
+36301234567 <- International format.
0036301234567 <- Another international format.
06301234567 <- This format is used the most in Hungary. I think you couldn't call me with it from another country.
301234567 <- Without country code.
1234567 <- Only the 7-digit number. Not working anymore since 16th of January.

Domain formats (example@DOMAIN.com):
tmomail.net
t-mobile.com
t-mobile.hu
mx.telekom.hu

All of these returned an automated message from the Mail Delivery Subsystem, saying the message couldn't be sent. (Hmm, I wonder… Do they send automated messages in other cases? Because I know years ago if I get a mail from MDS, it will be possibly a sending error. With my old account, I got some errors with mails I didn't send. Probably some spammers got my e-mail address.) And, certainly, it didn't get to my phone.

does an SMS count as a separate charge? We have unlitmited texting, so I thought that covered it, but I don't want to get charged extra for SMS.

SMS and text messaging are the same thing. So if you have unlimited
texting, you won't pay any extra no matter how many text (aka SMS
messages) you send.

MMS (multimedia message service), which is used for sending pictures,
ringtones, videos and music, is different. You might pay extra for
that.

I can't send any messages to my phone via email. I triple checked the address, but the message does not make it to my phone.

i live in london and ive got a t-mobile plan…ive been trying to figure out the email address for my number..i tired quite a few…but it does'nt work….does anyone know how i can fin out my t-mobile email address for text messaging services…thanks

I signed up for an account at TxtMobster.com to get around paying for text messages, and i chat/can text anyone on any provider anywhere in the world, or unlimited contacts at once.

I have had T-Mobile for years now. I have only had 1 or two problems but they were more my fault than theirs. Also the G1 with Android is fun also.
